Pete Cammarano

Mr. Cammarano served as Chief of Staff to Governor Richard Codey when he assumed that role in 2004. In his capacity as Chief of Staff, Mr. Cammarano was responsible for overseeing all legislative and executive branch activities in New Jersey. Prior to serving as Chief of Staff, Mr. Cammarano spent ten years working in the New Jersey State Senate as Senator Codey’s Chief of Staff. He previously served as the Director of Public Affairs for the Department of Insurance during the tenure of Governor Florio, and as Deputy Director for United States Senator Frank Lautenberg’s 1994 reelection campaign.

Mr. Cammarano’s experience in key government positions provides him with a unique knowledge of the inner workings of state government. He maintains close working relations with the key players throughout state government, and is known for his keen
sense of the New Jersey political environment.

Mr. Cammarano currently serves as a member of the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.

 

Kevin P. Hagan

Mr. Hagan served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor James E. McGreevey. He oversaw the Office of Constituent Relations and the Office of Inter-Governmental Affairs maintaining an active, open line of communication with New Jersey’s counties and municipalities.

As a political strategist, Mr. Hagan led Senator Frank R. Lautenberg to a comeback victory in 2002. He also served as political director for the McGreevey for Governor 2001 campaign. As CEO of the New Jersey Democratic State Committee under Chairman Bonnie Watson Coleman, Mr. Hagan led Democrats to victory statewide. In 2003, the NJDSC participated in a historical victory leading Democrats to increase their majority despite a 50 year trend where the sitting Governor’s political party lost seats.

Currently, Mr. Hagan serves on the New Jersey Real Estate Commission. He also serves on the Amistad Commission, which is aimed at incorporating African American history into the traditional educational curriculum of New Jersey.

A graduate of Drew University, Mr. Hagan has a degree in secondary education and history and a Masters in Public Administration from Rutgers University.
